TBG Launches the Sustainable Fashion Lab

The Bassiouni Group has launched the Sustainable Fashion Lab — a new offering from TBG Purpose focused on customized sustainability/ESG solutions for SMEs and global brands. Our solutions range from strategy/program development and emissions reporting to detoxification and supply chain/risk assessment & optimization.

The Fashion & Apparel industry is ground zero for Sustainability – it accounts for approx. 2-8% of global greenhouse emissions, 20% of wastewater and 92m tonnes of textile waste per year. At the same time, the market for sustainable/ethical fashion is growing rapidly and is expected to reach $40B by 2025. The industry requires practical, impact-focused solutions – not more greenwashing or cookie-cutter products that create more problems.

That is why we are excited to announce the official launch of the Sustainable Fashion Lab. Our core team of fashion industry/ sustainability experts is supported by TBG’s sustainability practice group and technical experts drawn from our global consultancy network (1000+ in 150 countries).

The Sustainable Fashion Lab includes industry/sustainability experts as well as technical experts drawn from TBG’s global consultancy network and strategic partners. We are on a mission to help fashion & apparel companies:

  1. Start, accelerate, or optimize their sustainability journey

  2. Address regulatory/compliance-related issues

  3. Effectively manage stakeholder concerns with credible sustainability solutions

  4. Identify supply chain risks and opportunities

  5. Generate revenue & impact via sustainability and innovative solutions
